01Who we are

Weras Labs ("we", "us") is the controller of the personal data described in this policy. You can reach us at hello@weraslabs.com.

02Data we collect on weraslabs.com

We keep data collection on this website to a minimum:

• Contact form: when you write to us, we store the name, email address and message you submit so we can reply.
• Live support chat: if you use the chat on the website, we store your messages, the optional name and email you enter, the page you wrote from and your language, so we can answer you. A random conversation id is kept in your browser so you can see the history.
• Language preference: Turkish pages live at the root and English pages under /en. On your first visit you are sent to the matching language based on your approximate country, which our hosting provider derives from your IP address; a cookie (NEXT_LOCALE) remembers the choice you make with the language link at the bottom of the page. We do not store your IP address for this.
• Theme preference: if you switch between light and dark mode, the choice is saved in your browser's local storage and never sent to us.
• Server logs: our hosting provider keeps short-lived technical logs (such as IP address, browser type and requested page) to keep the site secure and running.
• Visit statistics: our own cookieless analytics records which page was viewed, the referring website, approximate country and city, device type, browser and language. Visitors are counted with an anonymous identifier that changes every day; your IP address is never stored. Visits by search engine and AI crawlers are logged by name only. If you decline analytics in the cookie notice, these statistics are switched off for you entirely.
• Cookie and consent preferences: your choice in the cookie notice is kept in your browser's local storage; change it any time with the "Cookie preferences" link at the bottom of the page.
• Newsletter: if you subscribe, we store your email address, language and subscription date. Subscriptions are double opt-in, so nothing is sent until you click the link in the confirmation email. Every newsletter has a one-click unsubscribe link.
• Push notifications: if you allow browser notifications, we store the anonymous subscription address your browser's push service provides and your language; it contains no name or email. You can revoke permission in your browser settings at any time.

03What we don't do

We don't use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking, we don't build advertising profiles, and we never sell personal data.

04How we use data

We use the data above only to answer your messages, show the site in your language and theme, keep the service secure, and improve our website and products. Our legal bases are your consent (e.g. sending a message), our legitimate interest in running a secure website, and compliance with legal obligations.

05Our products

When you use a Weras Labs product, that product's own privacy policy explains exactly what it processes and why. Where a product's policy is more specific than this one, the product policy applies to that product.

06Service providers

We rely on a small number of trusted providers that process data on our behalf:

• Vercel (website hosting and delivery)
• Google Firebase / Google Cloud (secure storage of contact messages and admin authentication)

07Retention

Contact messages are kept for as long as needed to handle your request and any follow-up, and are then deleted. Preference cookies expire after one year; you can remove them at any time from your browser settings.

08Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or Turkey's KVKK), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, and to object to or restrict its processing. Email hello@weraslabs.com and we'll respond within 30 days.

09Children

Our website and products are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
