Business process automation that gives your team its hours back

If someone on your team spends every Monday merging spreadsheets, copying orders from one system into another or chasing the same approvals by email, that work can usually run on its own. Weras Labs builds custom automation around the way your business actually operates: reliable, easy to maintain and measured in hours saved.

What we automate

Automation does not have to be a large transformation program. In most companies, removing the three or four steps that eat the most time is enough to change how the week feels. The work we automate most often:

  • Spreadsheet automation: merging files from different sources, cleaning data, catching formula errors and producing one consistent report.
  • Reporting automation: pulling sales, inventory, finance or ad data on a schedule and delivering it by email or on a dashboard.
  • Data sync between systems: ending manual copy-paste between your online store, accounting software, CRM and shipping provider.
  • Document and email processing: reading incoming invoices, order forms or applications and entering them into the right system.
  • Alerts and approval flows: notifying the right person when stock runs low, a payment is late or a request is waiting for sign-off.

Every automation leaves a clear log a person can review, so you always know what ran, when, and with which data.

Automation with AI

Traditional workflow automation runs on rules: "if this column says X, do Y". But a lot of real-world input is messy: free-text emails, scanned documents, supplier price lists that arrive in a different format every month. That is where we place language models such as Claude and Gemini inside the workflow.

Classifying incoming customer emails, extracting totals and tax IDs from PDF invoices, or writing a short management summary of a long report can now be automated dependably. We use AI only in the steps where it makes a real difference, keep important decisions behind human approval, and design the flow so model costs stay predictable.

What affects the cost

A fixed list price for automation would be misleading, because two companies asking for "report automation" can need very different things. The main factors are:

  • How many systems need to be connected, and whether they offer an API
  • How clean the data is, and how much matching and cleaning it needs
  • The number of steps in the workflow and the exceptions it must handle
  • Whether AI is needed for any step
  • Whether you need an admin dashboard or a service that simply runs in the background

After a short call we send a free quote. We can scope anything from a single-purpose script to a full multi-system workflow, and we usually recommend starting with the step that saves the most time, then growing from there.

Timeline and technology

Automating a single workflow typically takes 1–3 weeks from kickoff to production. Broader projects that connect several systems and include a dashboard with user roles usually take 4–8 weeks.

We build with Node.js and TypeScript services, scheduled jobs, Firebase or a similar cloud database, and admin dashboards deployed on Vercel. Google Sheets, Excel files, mailboxes, accounting and e-commerce APIs, and the Claude and Gemini models are the pieces we connect most often. The code lives in a repository you own, documented and handed over.

Why Weras Labs

Weras Labs is a small, senior software team led by founder Habip Dayan. We build and ship our own software products, so we know what it takes for code to run in production for years: monitoring, clear error reporting and maintainable structure.

Throughout the project you talk directly to the developer who writes the code, not to an account manager. We are based in Turkey and work with clients abroad remotely, in English, with the same process.

What's included

Scheduled jobs

Reports and data transfers run at the time you choose, without anyone having to remember.

Excel and Google Sheets support

We read, merge and update your existing spreadsheets instead of replacing them overnight.

Cross-system sync

Orders, customers and invoices move between store, CRM, accounting and shipping on their own.

AI document extraction

Key fields are pulled from emails, PDFs and scanned documents automatically.

Approval steps

Sensitive actions wait for the right person to approve them.

Error alerts and audit log

If a step fails you hear about it immediately, and every run is recorded.

Simple control panel

Start, pause and review workflows from a dashboard when you need one.

How we work

  1. 1

    Map the workflow

We walk through how the work is done today and find the steps that cost the most time.

  2. 2

    Scope and quote

You get a written scope covering what will be automated, the timeline and the cost.

  3. 3

    Build and test

We test the working version with a copy of your real data, together with you.

  4. 4

    Go live

We switch the automation on and monitor it closely during the first weeks.

  5. 5

    Support and iteration

As your processes change, we update the workflow and add new steps.

Frequently asked questions

Is custom automation worth it for a small business?

Yes. A single repetitive task that takes a few hours every week is already a good reason to automate. We build small, single-purpose automations that go live quickly and pay off early.

Can we keep using our spreadsheets?

Yes. We can keep Excel and Google Sheets in place while automating the merging, cleaning and reporting behind them. If it makes sense later, we can plan a move to a proper database.

What if our software has no API?

There is usually another route: scheduled exports, reports that arrive by email, or a direct database connection. We assess which option is reliable during the first call.

Is AI-powered automation safe for our data?

We send models only the data a step needs, and we agree on safeguards such as masking personal data, business API terms and human review at the start of the project.

How long does an automation project take?

A single workflow usually takes 1–3 weeks. Projects that connect several systems and include a dashboard take around 4–8 weeks.

How is pricing for workflow automation decided?

It depends on the number of systems, the state of the data and the complexity of the workflow. After a short call we send a free, no-obligation quote.
