Privacy Policy

01Data we collect

When you use HookSlayer we process only the minimum data needed to provide the service:

• The text of the LinkedIn profile you're viewing: when you choose to analyze a profile, the publicly visible text on it (name, headline, about, experience, education, skills and recent posts) is sent to our servers and processed by AI to generate suggestions.
• Anonymous device id: on first run the extension generates a random id (UUID) and stores it on your device. We use it to recognize you; we never ask for your name or email.
• Usage counters: your daily analyze, content and image generation counts (for rate limiting and aggregate statistics).
• License and payment info: when you buy Premium or Pro, the license key, product info and purchaser email that come from our payment provider, Lemon Squeezy. We never see your card details; Lemon Squeezy handles payment entirely.

02How we use data

We use the collected data only to: generate profile analysis and content/visual suggestions, determine your tier (Free/Premium/Pro), enforce usage limits, improve the service, and produce aggregate (anonymous) statistics.

We do not use your data for advertising and we do NOT sell it to third parties.

03AI processing

For analysis and content generation we send profile text to Google's Gemini models. This data is processed on the fly to return a result to you. Generated outputs are AI-produced and may not always be accurate; final decisions are yours.

04Third-party services we use

We work with trusted infrastructure providers to deliver the service:

• Google Gemini (AI text and image generation)
• Firebase / Google Cloud (secure data storage and admin authentication)
• Lemon Squeezy (payments and license management)
• Vercel (application hosting)

05Data retention

We keep your device id, usage counters and license mappings for as long as the service is active. We do not permanently store the profile text sent for analysis; after generating a suggestion we don't retain that content (we may keep derived, non-personal labels such as an 'authority area' for anonymous statistics).

06Your rights

You can contact us to request deletion of or information about your data. Uninstalling the extension also clears the id and license info stored on your device.

07Children's privacy

HookSlayer is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

08Changes and contact
