Website design for California businesses by Weras Labs

Four services for California, one team

We build your site, get you found on Google and bring customers in with ads. You talk to the same person for all of it.

California is several economies sharing one state line. The Central Valley grows and ships food, the Bay Area builds software, Los Angeles makes entertainment and moves goods through its ports, San Diego mixes biotech with tourism, and wine country runs on hospitality. A Fresno packing company and a Napa tasting room should not end up with the same website.

We are a small software company in Turkey that works with US clients remotely. Many California founders are already used to distributed teams; what we add is a single senior developer who owns your project and writes everything down.

Industries we can help in California

What these businesses need online, and what we would build for them.

  1. 01

    Startups and SaaS

Early-stage companies need a fast marketing site, product pages, docs and a sign-up flow that connects cleanly to their app and analytics.

  2. 02

    Agriculture and food producers

Central Valley growers and processors need B2B sites with product specs, certifications and buyer contact forms, plus careers pages for seasonal hiring.

  3. 03

    Wineries and hospitality

Tasting rooms in Napa, Sonoma and Paso Robles benefit from reservation booking, wine club sign-ups and an online store that respects shipping restrictions by state.

  4. 04

    Entertainment and creative services

Production companies and studios need portfolio sites with video that loads well, plus clear service and contact pages.

  5. 05

    Life sciences and biotech

Firms around San Diego and the Bay Area need credible, well-organized sites for investors, partners and hiring, without overpromising science.

  6. 06

    Home services and contractors

Solar installers, remodelers and landscapers need service-area pages and lead forms tuned to dense, competitive metros.

Web design and development for California companies

We design and build marketing sites, online stores and web applications. For a startup that could be a landing page and pricing flow wired to Stripe and your product. For a winery, a reservation system and wine club. For a contractor, a quote form that asks the right questions.

Compliance is part of the build, not an afterthought: - CCPA/CPRA-aware privacy notices and a working process for consumer requests, set up with your input - Cookie and tracking controls, including support for opt-out signals like Global Privacy Control - WCAG 2.2 accessibility testing to reduce ADA-related risk

We are developers, not attorneys, so we implement what your counsel approves.

SEO in competitive California markets

Ranking in Los Angeles or the Bay Area is hard because every category is crowded. We focus on what you can actually win: specific services, specific neighborhoods and cities, and questions your competitors ignore. Your Google Business Profile gets complete, accurate details and regular updates.

Technical SEO matters more as competition rises. We fix page speed, structured data, duplicate pages and crawl problems, and we write content with real expertise in it rather than filler. Bilingual English and Spanish pages are an option where your customers expect them.

Google Ads for California businesses

Clicks are expensive in many California categories, so precision matters. Ideas we often use: - Tight geographic targeting by city or ZIP code instead of whole metros - Separate campaigns for high-intent searches and broader research terms - Seasonal pushes for wine country visits, summer tourism on the coast and holiday gifting - Lead campaigns for solar, roofing and remodeling with call and form tracking - Performance Max for online stores, with a clean product feed

You see the numbers that matter: cost per lead or sale, not just clicks.

Social media management for California brands

Instagram and short video drive discovery for restaurants, wineries, fashion and wellness brands. LinkedIn suits B2B tech, biotech and professional services, especially for founder-led posts and hiring. For local businesses in diverse communities, Facebook and Spanish-language posts can reach customers that other channels miss.

We plan content monthly, produce and schedule posts, and send you a short report on what moved.

Working with a remote team from Turkey: time zones and process

California is on Pacific Time, 10 hours behind Turkey in summer and 11 in winter. We hold calls in your early morning, which is our evening, and rely on detailed written updates so you can review progress whenever suits you.

The process: - Free intro call, then a written proposal and contract in English - A shared project board and staging links for every milestone - One senior developer who writes your code and answers your messages - Post-launch support plus optional SEO, ads and social management

How we work

Every project follows the same five steps. At each one you know who you're talking to and what you'll receive.

  1. 1

    Free intro call

We talk through your business, goals and budget, and look at your current setup together if useful.

  2. 2

    Written proposal

Scope, delivery date and price, itemised in writing. No surprise extras later.

  3. 3

    Design and build

We work in short cycles; a preview link lets you follow progress and comment at any time.

  4. 4

    Launch

We set up the domain, hosting, Search Console and analytics, then take the project live.

  5. 5

    Support and growth

We stay reachable after launch: fixes, new features, SEO and ad optimisation.

Web design in California: FAQ

Do you have an office in California?

No. Weras Labs is a software company in Turkey and works with California clients remotely. We have no office, staff or address in the state. All meetings are by video, and you can follow progress on a shared project board.

When can we have calls given the Pacific time difference?

We hold calls in your early morning, around 7 to 9 a.m. Pacific, which is our evening. Most of our communication is written, so you can review work at any hour.

Can you set up CCPA/CPRA privacy notices on our site?

Yes. We build privacy notice pages, cookie and tracking controls, opt-out links and request forms based on what your legal adviser specifies. We handle implementation, not legal advice. That includes keeping the notice consistent with the tracking tools the site actually loads.

Can you build a wine club and online store for a winery?

Yes. We build reservation booking, wine club sign-ups and e-commerce with age verification and state shipping rules. If you already use a winery platform, we can integrate with it. Tasting room reservations can show time slots and party size limits.

Do you work with startups?

Yes. We build marketing sites, MVP web apps, dashboards and AI features using Claude integrations. You work directly with the developer, which keeps decisions quick. We also set up analytics, error monitoring and a deployment process your future team can take over.

Do you build Spanish-language pages?

Yes. We set up separate Spanish versions with proper language tags so each can rank, using copy you provide or approve. We can also run Spanish-language ad groups and social posts for the same audience.

How does a project start?

With a free intro call. After it we send a written proposal covering scope, timeline and deliverables so you can compare options calmly. Bring any existing designs, analytics access or brand files and the proposal will be more precise.
