Web Design, SEO and Google Ads for Croatian Businesses

Weras Labs builds websites, booking systems and online shops for businesses in Croatia and manages SEO, Google Ads and social media. We work remotely from Turkey, one to two hours ahead of Zagreb, in English. Getting started takes a free intro call, after which we send a written proposal.

Website design for Croatia businesses by Weras Labs

Four services for Croatia, one team

We build your site, get you found on Google and bring customers in with ads. You talk to the same person for all of it.

Along the Adriatic, thousands of apartment owners, charter companies, restaurants and tour operators compete for the same summer visitors. Most of those visitors book online, often through platforms that take a share. A good direct website, with its own search visibility, wins back some of that margin.

Inland, Zagreb and Slavonia have a different economy of services, IT, food production and manufacturing. We work with both. Weras Labs is a software company in Turkey where one senior developer runs your project from first call to launch and support, in English and in writing.

Industries we can help in Croatia

What these businesses need online, and what we would build for them.

  1. 01

    Holiday apartments and villas

Owners and agencies need direct booking, availability calendars, clear house rules and pages that answer guest questions before arrival.

  2. 02

    Yacht charter and marinas

Charter firms on the Dalmatian coast need fleet pages, itinerary ideas, enquiry or booking flows and multilingual content.

  3. 03

    Restaurants, wineries and olive oil

Producers in Istria and Dalmatia benefit from story-led sites, tasting reservations and shops for customers across the EU.

  4. 04

    Tours and activities

Kayaking, island hopping and day trip operators need mobile-first booking pages that load quickly on a phone at the harbour.

  5. 05

IT and professional services in Zagreb

Software firms, agencies and consultancies need English-first corporate sites, service pages and careers sections.

Web design and development for Croatian businesses

Croatian coastal sites usually need several languages because guests come from all over Europe. We build the structure so each language has proper URLs and metadata, and we make sure Croatian characters such as č, ć, š, ž and đ display and index correctly.

  • Croatian and English versions, plus German, Italian or others you supply
  • Direct booking engines or channel manager integrations
  • Fleet, villa and tour catalogues with filters and enquiry forms
  • GDPR-aware consent for analytics and ad tags, plus clear privacy pages for guests
  • Fast, lightweight pages for visitors on mobile data

You keep full ownership of the code and every account.

SEO in Croatia: coastal towns, islands and Google Maps

Visitors search very locally once they arrive: a konoba in Hvar town, a boat rental in Trogir, a pharmacy in Rovinj. A complete Google Business Profile with accurate seasonal hours and good photos often decides who gets the visit.

Before they arrive, they research in their own language. We build pages for the specific islands and towns you serve, answer practical questions, and add structured data for lodging, restaurants and tours. For Zagreb businesses we focus on Croatian-language searches by service and district. Croatian copy should come from you or a native writer.

Google Ads campaigns for Croatian tourism and services

Coastal campaigns open well before summer and target the countries your guests come from, often Germany, Austria, Slovenia, Italy, the UK and Poland, in their own language where you have the content. Budgets ease off once you are booked out and return for the shoulder season.

For Zagreb services and Croatian e-commerce, we run steady search and Shopping campaigns. Every account gets conversion tracking for bookings, calls and purchases before spend, and a short plain-English report.

Social media management for Croatian brands

Instagram is the main showcase for the coast: sea, stone towns, food, boats. Short video helps guests picture the experience. Facebook still reaches local audiences and older visitors, and LinkedIn suits Zagreb's IT and professional firms.

We plan content around the season, write posts in English, publish Croatian or other language versions you supply, and run paid campaigns that target specific source markets.

Working with a remote team from Turkey: time zones and process

Turkey does not change its clocks and sits on UTC+3 all year. Croatia is one hour behind us in summer and two hours behind in winter, so we share nearly the whole Croatian working day.

How a project runs: - A free intro call, ideally in the off-season, then a written proposal with scope and timeline - One project board with tasks, photos, files and approvals - Weekly updates and calls during your business hours - A staging site, with launch planned before your booking season opens - Handover of code and accounts, plus optional support through the summer

We have no Croatian premises or local staff. One senior developer builds your site and replies to your messages.

How we work

Every project follows the same five steps. At each one you know who you're talking to and what you'll receive.

  1. 1

    Free intro call

We talk through your business, goals and budget, and look at your current setup together if useful.

  2. 2

    Written proposal

Scope, delivery date and price, itemised in writing. No surprise extras later.

  3. 3

    Design and build

We work in short cycles; a preview link lets you follow progress and comment at any time.

  4. 4

    Launch

We set up the domain, hosting, Search Console and analytics, then take the project live.

  5. 5

    Support and growth

We stay reachable after launch: fixes, new features, SEO and ad optimisation.

Web design in Croatia: FAQ

Do you have an office in Croatia?

No. Weras Labs is based in Turkey and works with Croatian clients remotely, through video calls, email and a shared project board. We have no address or local staff in Croatia. You deal directly with the senior developer building your site.

What is the time difference between Croatia and Turkey?

Turkey is one hour ahead of Croatia in summer and two hours ahead in winter, because Turkey stays on UTC+3 all year. Our working days overlap almost entirely, so calls are easy to schedule.

Can you help a holiday apartment take more direct bookings?

Yes. We build a fast site with a booking engine or channel manager connection, clear photos and house information, and pages for your town or island. Google Ads and your Google Business Profile then bring guests to book directly.

Which languages should a coastal business offer?

That depends on where your guests come from. Many coastal businesses start with English and Croatian and add German or Italian. We look at your booking data in the intro call and suggest a sensible order.

Is the site GDPR-aware?

Yes. We include GDPR-aware cookie consent that blocks tracking until the visitor agrees, and clear privacy and cookie pages. The legal wording should be reviewed by your own adviser before launch.

How do we start?

Book a free intro call, ideally in autumn or winter for a coastal business. We discuss your guests and goals, then send a written proposal in English. We start work as soon as you approve it.
