Website design for Norway businesses by Weras Labs

Four services for Norway, one team

We build your site, get you found on Google and bring customers in with ads. You talk to the same person for all of it.

Norway's economy is built around the coast: energy, seafood, shipping and the tourism that follows the fjords and the northern lights. Many of these firms sell to specialists in other countries, and their sites need to be precise and trustworthy rather than flashy.

Weras Labs is a compact software studio in Turkey. One senior developer handles your project from the first call through launch and support, so the person who understood your brief is the one who delivers it. We agree everything in writing, in English, and keep the build practical.

Industries we can help in Norway

What these businesses need online, and what we would build for them.

  1. 01

Offshore energy and its supply chain

Suppliers and engineering firms around Stavanger and Bergen need clear capability pages, certifications, plain service descriptions and secure document areas for clients.

  2. 02

    Seafood and aquaculture

Producers and exporters need bilingual brand sites, product specifications for buyers and trade enquiry forms that reach the right sales contact.

  3. 03

    Maritime and ship equipment

Companies along the west coast, including the Ålesund cluster, benefit from structured product catalogues, spare part enquiry forms and dealer locators.

  4. 04

    Fjord, Arctic and adventure tourism

Tour operators and lodges from Tromsø to the fjords need booking, live availability and pages written for visitors from abroad.

  5. 05

    Trades and home services

Builders, plumbers and electricians need local pages, quote forms and a strong Google Maps presence in the towns they serve.

Web design and development for Norwegian companies

Norwegian B2B buyers read carefully. They want to know exactly what you supply, to what standard and how quickly. We structure sites around that: clear product and service pages, technical documents that are easy to download, and contact routes that do not dead-end.

  • Norwegian and English versions with proper hreflang setup
  • Product catalogues, spare part finders and distributor maps
  • Secure client portals and document sharing built as web apps
  • GDPR-aware cookie consent and privacy pages, as Norway follows GDPR through the EEA
  • Fast, accessible pages that work well on phones in the field

The code and accounts are handed over to you.

Local and international SEO in Norway

For local businesses, Norwegian searches lean heavily on place: a service plus Bergen, Grünerløkka or Sandnes. We complete and maintain your Google Business Profile, keep hours and photos current, and add pages only for areas you really serve.

For exporters and maritime suppliers, international SEO matters more. We set up language versions properly, write service pages that answer specialist questions, and fix technical issues such as slow pages, crawl errors and missing structured data. Norwegian copy should be written or checked by a native writer; we take care of structure and measurement.

Google Ads for Norwegian businesses

Tourism in Norway has two peaks: summer for fjords and midnight sun, winter for the northern lights. Campaigns for operators in Tromsø or Lofoten open well before each season and target the markets your guests come from.

B2B campaigns for energy and maritime suppliers do well on narrow, technical search terms, often in English, aimed at specific countries. Local service campaigns use tight geographic targeting. In every case we set up conversion tracking before spend and review search terms weekly.

Social media management for Norwegian brands

LinkedIn is the core channel for energy, maritime and engineering firms: project milestones, hires and industry news. Instagram fits tourism, seafood and outdoor brands, where the scenery sells. Facebook reaches local communities and remains useful for trades and events.

We plan a monthly calendar, write posts in English, publish Norwegian versions you supply or approve, and can run paid campaigns for seasons, launches and recruitment.

Working with a remote team from Turkey: time zones and process

Turkey is UTC+3 throughout the year. Norway is one hour behind us in summer and two hours behind in winter, so our working days overlap for nearly all of your office hours. Calls fit easily into your day.

How we work: - A free intro call, then a written English proposal with scope and timeline for your review - A shared project board with tasks, files and approvals - Weekly progress notes and calls when needed - A staging site for review before launch - Handover of code and accounts, plus optional ongoing support

We have no Norwegian premises or staff. One senior developer is your contact from start to finish.

How we work

Every project follows the same five steps. At each one you know who you're talking to and what you'll receive.

  1. 1

    Free intro call

We talk through your business, goals and budget, and look at your current setup together if useful.

  2. 2

    Written proposal

Scope, delivery date and price, itemised in writing. No surprise extras later.

  3. 3

    Design and build

We work in short cycles; a preview link lets you follow progress and comment at any time.

  4. 4

    Launch

We set up the domain, hosting, Search Console and analytics, then take the project live.

  5. 5

    Support and growth

We stay reachable after launch: fixes, new features, SEO and ad optimisation.

Web design in Norway: FAQ

Do you have an office in Norway?

No. Weras Labs is based in Turkey and works with Norwegian clients remotely, by video call, email and a shared project board. There is no address or local staff in Norway. You deal directly with the senior developer who builds your site.

What is the time difference between Norway and Turkey?

Turkey is one hour ahead of Norway in summer and two hours ahead in winter, because Turkey stays on UTC+3 all year. Our working days overlap almost entirely, so calls fit into normal Norwegian office hours.

Does GDPR apply to Norwegian websites?

Norway applies GDPR through the EEA Agreement, so we build GDPR-aware cookie consent and clear privacy pages as standard. The legal wording itself should be reviewed by your own adviser.

Can you build a site for an offshore or maritime supplier?

Yes. We build structured product and service sites with technical documents, certifications, spare part enquiry forms and secure client areas. We keep the design sober and the information easy to find for engineers and buyers.

Can you write in Norwegian?

We work in English. Norwegian copy should come from you or a native writer, and we handle layout, language tags and indexing so both versions perform well in search and stay easy to update later.

How do we begin?

Book a free intro call. We ask about your customers, current site and goals, then send a written proposal in English. Work starts only once you approve it, and you can ask us anything before deciding.
