Website design for San Diego businesses by Weras Labs

San Diego's economy has two very different faces. Up the I-5 corridor, life science and defense technology firms need sites that explain complicated work to investors, partners and future hires. Along the coast, breweries, surf shops and hotels need sites that sell a feeling in a few seconds on a phone.

We build for both. Our team works remotely from Turkey, which means early-morning calls on your side, steady written updates and direct access to the developer who builds your site.

Across San Diego

  • Downtown and the Gaslamp Quarter
  • Little Italy
  • North Park
  • La Jolla
  • Pacific Beach
  • Mission Valley
  • Sorrento Valley
  • Chula Vista
  • Carlsbad
  • Escondido

We work remotely from Turkey: no local office, one senior developer from first call to launch.

Industries we can help in San Diego

What these businesses need online, and what we would build for them.

  1. 01

    Biotech and life science companies

Clean company sites with pipeline or platform pages, team and advisor profiles, careers pages that recruiters can update, and investor sections that are easy to keep current.

  2. 02

    Defense and engineering contractors

Plain, credible B2B sites that set out capabilities, certifications and contact routes, without revealing more than you choose to share.

  3. 03

    Craft breweries, bars and restaurants

Tap lists and menus you can change from your phone, event calendars and location pages for each taproom.

  4. 04

    Hotels, tours and coastal tourism

Booking-focused pages that load fast for visitors on mobile data, with seasonal offers and clear directions.

  5. 05

    Surf, outdoor and lifestyle brands

E-commerce stores with strong product photography, size guides and shipping information that cut down customer emails.

Websites for San Diego's labs, taprooms and beach towns

We design every site from scratch in Next.js, with the structure set by your goals rather than a template.

For science and engineering firms, that usually means careful information design and a careers section that works with your applicant system. For hospitality and retail, it means fast mobile pages, strong photos and short paths to book or buy.

California sites need a clear privacy notice and cookie handling that supports CCPA/CPRA requirements, and we build in WCAG 2.2 accessibility, which also helps reduce ADA-related risk. We can implement these as features; your legal adviser should confirm the wording.

Local SEO across the county

San Diego County stretches from Oceanside to the border, and searches are often tied to a beach town or neighborhood. We set up and maintain your Google Business Profile, keep hours and photos current, and build a review routine.

On the site, we create location pages for each taproom, clinic or service area you actually cover, and service pages written in the words customers use. Technical work covers speed, schema and clean internal links, which matter a lot for small sites competing with big directories.

Google Ads for visitors and specialists

We match campaigns to who you need to reach.

  • Summer and holiday campaigns for hotels, tours and restaurants aimed at people planning a trip
  • Event-driven ads around big conventions and festivals for nearby venues
  • B2B search campaigns for lab services or engineering capabilities with careful keyword lists
  • Shopping campaigns for surf and outdoor brands with clean product feeds

Tracking covers calls, forms and purchases, and you get a plain monthly summary.

Social media for a coastal audience

Instagram and TikTok suit breweries, restaurants and lifestyle brands, with short videos of the place and the people. LinkedIn is where science and defense companies build trust with hires and partners. We plan a monthly calendar, create posts, schedule them and report on what people engaged with.

Working with a remote team from Turkey: time zones and process

Pacific time is 10 to 11 hours behind Turkey, so live overlap is short. We hold calls in your early morning, which is our evening, or occasionally late in our night when needed. Most coordination runs through async updates on a shared project board, so you wake up to progress.

You get a written proposal and contract in English, milestone reviews, testing on real devices, launch and support. One senior developer owns the work end to end.

How we work

Every project follows the same five steps. At each one you know who you're talking to and what you'll receive.

  1. 1

    Free intro call

We talk through your business, goals and budget, and look at your current setup together if useful.

  2. 2

    Written proposal

Scope, delivery date and price, itemised in writing. No surprise extras later.

  3. 3

    Design and build

We work in short cycles; a preview link lets you follow progress and comment at any time.

  4. 4

    Launch

We set up the domain, hosting, Search Console and analytics, then take the project live.

  5. 5

    Support and growth

We stay reachable after launch: fixes, new features, SEO and ad optimisation.

Web design in San Diego: FAQ

Do you have an office in San Diego?

No. Weras Labs is based in Turkey and works with San Diego clients remotely through video calls, a shared project board and written proposals. Nobody represents us locally in San Diego; the developer on your project is your direct contact.

How do you handle the time difference with California?

Turkey is 10 to 11 hours ahead of Pacific time. We meet in your early morning, our evening, and keep the rest of the work moving with written updates you can read when convenient.

Can you build a website for a biotech startup?

Yes. We build clear company sites with science, team, careers and news sections, designed so non-technical staff can update them. We work from your approved wording on anything scientific or regulatory.

Do you handle CCPA/CPRA privacy notices?

We build privacy pages, consent controls and opt-out links that support CCPA/CPRA requirements. We are not lawyers, so your legal adviser should review the final text before launch. We keep the setup easy to update when rules change.

Can you manage our brewery's tap list online?

Yes. We set up a simple editor or a connection to the tool you already use, so the menu on your site updates in minutes from a phone. Each taproom location can have its own list.

How do we start a project?

Book a free intro call. We ask about your goals and audience, then send a written proposal with scope, timeline and what we need from you. You decide whether to go ahead, with no obligation.
