Web Design, SEO and Google Ads for UK Businesses

UK buyers are used to doing their research online, whether they are a procurement manager in Birmingham, a homeowner in Leeds looking for a kitchen fitter or a shopper in Glasgow comparing delivery options. They expect clear pricing information on your side, a sensible cookie banner, quick pages and no fuss.
Weras Labs is a software company in Turkey that works with UK clients remotely. We have no British office. You work with one senior developer who handles strategy, design, development and launch, with calls during your normal working hours because the time difference is small.

Web design and development for UK companies
We build websites that are fast, accessible and easy for your team to update. For many UK clients that means a clean marketing site on a CMS; for others it means an online shop, a booking system or a custom web app connected to accounting or CRM tools.
- Cookie consent set up in line with UK GDPR and PECR expectations, so non-essential cookies wait for consent
- Privacy and cookie pages structured clearly, with wording reviewed by your own adviser
- Accessibility work to WCAG 2.2, which helps every visitor
- Integrations with tools common in the UK such as Xero, Stripe, GoCardless and HubSpot
- Welsh-language pages for organisations in Wales that need them, using translations you provide
Everything is built so you own the code, content and accounts.

SEO across the UK, from national search to local maps
Some UK businesses sell nationwide, others serve one county. We tailor SEO to that reality. National brands need strong category pages, technical health and content that answers real questions. Local firms need a complete Google Business Profile, consistent listings, honest reviews and pages for the towns they genuinely work in.
We use British spelling and terminology throughout, set the correct country targeting, and fix the technical issues that hold sites back: slow pages, duplicate content, broken links and messy redirects after a redesign.

Google Ads campaigns for UK markets
We build Google Ads accounts that are easy to understand and focused on enquiries and sales. Typical work for UK clients includes:
- Search campaigns for trades and professional services, targeted by region or postcode radius
- Shopping and Performance Max for e-commerce, with a clean product feed and VAT-inclusive prices
- Seasonal campaigns around Black Friday, Christmas and the January sales
- B2B campaigns for manufacturers and service firms aimed at specific sectors
Conversion tracking respects consent choices, and monthly reports explain results plainly.

Working with a remote team from Turkey: time zones and process
Turkey is on UTC+3 all year. That makes us three hours ahead of the UK in winter and two hours ahead during British Summer Time. In practice we share nearly your whole working day, so calls, quick questions and same-day fixes are straightforward.
We start with a free intro call and a written proposal in English, covering scope, milestones and ownership. You follow progress on a shared project board and review work on a staging site. One senior developer is accountable from first sketch to launch, and support and marketing can continue afterwards on clear written terms.

How we work
Every project follows the same five steps. At each one you know who you're talking to and what you'll receive.
- 1
Free intro call
We talk through your business, goals and budget, and look at your current setup together if useful.
- 2
Written proposal
Scope, delivery date and price, itemised in writing. No surprise extras later.
- 3
Design and build
We work in short cycles; a preview link lets you follow progress and comment at any time.
- 4
Launch
We set up the domain, hosting, Search Console and analytics, then take the project live.
- 5
Support and growth
We stay reachable after launch: fixes, new features, SEO and ad optimisation.
Web design in United Kingdom: FAQ
Do you have an office in the United Kingdom?
No. Weras Labs is a software company in Turkey and works with UK clients remotely, using video calls, email and a shared project board. There is no UK office or staff; you deal directly with the developer building your project.
What is the time difference between the UK and Turkey?
Turkey is two hours ahead during British Summer Time and three hours ahead in winter. We overlap with almost all of your working day, so calls in UK office hours are easy to arrange.
Can you set up cookie consent for UK GDPR and PECR?
Yes. We configure consent banners so non-essential cookies and tracking only load after consent, and connect Google consent mode where relevant. We build the technical side; your legal wording should be confirmed by your own adviser.
Do you build online shops for UK sellers?
Yes. We build Shopify and custom shops with UK delivery options, VAT settings in your platform, payment providers such as Stripe and clear returns information. Royal Mail and courier options can be configured to match your fulfilment setup.
Can you help a trade business rank in its local area?
Yes. We optimise your Google Business Profile, build pages for towns you really cover and improve site speed and structure. We do not use copy-and-paste town pages. Reviews from real customers help a lot.
Do you write in British English?
Yes. Copy, metadata and ads for UK clients use British spelling and terms, and we follow your house style if you have one. Dates, measurements and phone formats follow UK conventions as well.

Social media management for British audiences
UK audiences tend to prefer an understated, helpful tone over hard selling. Instagram and TikTok suit hospitality, retail and lifestyle brands. Facebook still works well for local trades and community-focused businesses. LinkedIn is important for B2B firms, recruitment and professional services.
We plan content calendars, write and schedule posts, and run paid campaigns, with reporting tied to site visits and enquiries rather than likes alone.
