Virginia business has a strong B2B streak. Northern Virginia is thick with government contractors, IT firms and data center operators, Hampton Roads revolves around the Navy, shipbuilding and the port, and Richmond mixes finance, law and healthcare. Beyond the metros, wineries, the Shenandoah Valley and historic sites bring steady tourism.
We build websites that work for serious buyers and curious visitors alike, and we help both groups find you. You deal directly with the developer, without layers.
Industries we can help in Virginia
What these businesses need online, and what we would build for them.
- 01
Government contractors
Credible sites with capability statements, NAICS codes, contract vehicles, past performance pages you supply and secure contact forms.
- 02
IT, cybersecurity and data centers
Technical B2B sites that explain services clearly, with careers pages for hard-to-fill roles and gated whitepapers for lead capture.
- 03
Maritime and defense suppliers
Sites for shipyard suppliers, marine services and engineering firms in Hampton Roads, with certifications and quote requests.
- 04
Wineries and agritourism
Tasting reservations, wine club sign-ups, event and wedding pages for vineyards in the Piedmont and Shenandoah Valley.
- 05
Professional services
Law, accounting and consulting sites in Richmond and Northern Virginia with practice area pages, attorney bios and consultation booking.
- 06
Coastal tourism and hospitality
Hotel, rental and attraction sites for Virginia Beach and the Eastern Shore, with direct booking and summer event calendars.
Web design and development for Virginia firms
Procurement officers, engineers and corporate buyers read carefully. They want clear capabilities, proof of qualifications and an easy way to contact the right person. Consumers want speed and a simple path to book.
We build: - B2B and contractor sites with structured capability content - Online stores and booking systems - Custom portals and dashboards for clients or staff - Secure integrations with CRMs and internal systems
We build to WCAG 2.2 accessibility guidelines. That matters for any US business, and it matters more for firms that sell to public-sector clients who expect accessible materials.

SEO from Northern Virginia to Hampton Roads
B2B firms in Tysons, Reston or Herndon usually compete on service and capability searches rather than on the map. Local businesses in Virginia Beach, Chesapeake or Henrico rely heavily on the map pack.
We handle both: Google Business Profile optimization and service-area pages for local firms, and topic-led content, technical fixes and structured data for B2B and professional services. We also cover the D.C. metro overlap when you serve Maryland and the District.

Google Ads for Virginia markets
For contractors and IT firms, we run narrow search campaigns aimed at specific services and avoid wasting money on job seekers or students. Wineries and venues gain most in spring and fall, while beach businesses peak in summer.
Home services across the state see demand after storms and during heat waves. We set up conversion tracking first, then report each month on leads, calls and cost in plain language.

Working with a remote team from Turkey: time zones and process
Turkey holds UTC+3 all year, putting us 7 to 8 hours ahead of Virginia. When your working day begins, ours is in the afternoon, so calls fit easily into your morning and updates arrive before you start.
We begin with a free intro call and follow with a written proposal in English. Work is tracked on a shared board where you review and approve designs and builds. After launch, the same developer handles support. If your contracts require specific security or data handling terms, tell us early and we will say plainly what we can and cannot meet.

How we work
Every project follows the same five steps. At each one you know who you're talking to and what you'll receive.
- 1
Free intro call
We talk through your business, goals and budget, and look at your current setup together if useful.
- 2
Written proposal
Scope, delivery date and price, itemised in writing. No surprise extras later.
- 3
Design and build
We work in short cycles; a preview link lets you follow progress and comment at any time.
- 4
Launch
We set up the domain, hosting, Search Console and analytics, then take the project live.
- 5
Support and growth
We stay reachable after launch: fixes, new features, SEO and ad optimisation.
Web design in Virginia: FAQ
Do you have an office in Virginia?
No. Weras Labs has no office, staff or address in Virginia. We work remotely from Turkey with clients abroad, using video calls, a shared project board and written English proposals. You talk directly with the senior developer on your project.
What hours overlap with Eastern time?
Your morning overlaps with our afternoon and early evening. That leaves room for live calls on most working days, with written updates ready when you start your day. Urgent questions sent in your afternoon are usually answered first thing in our next morning.
Can you build a website for a government contractor?
Yes. We build sites that present capability statements, certifications, contract vehicles and past performance clearly. You provide the facts and documents; we structure them so contracting officers find what they need quickly.
Can you work on projects that require US-based personnel?
No. If a contract requires US persons or cleared staff to handle the work, we are not the right fit. Many contractors use us for their public marketing site, which usually has no such requirement.
Do you build winery websites with reservations?
Yes. We set up tasting reservations, wine club sign-ups, event calendars and online shops with shipping restricted to the states you choose, based on guidance from your compliance adviser. Staff can manage events and inventory themselves.
How do we get started with you?
Book a free intro call. We ask about your goals, audience and timeline, then send a written proposal with scope and deliverables. You can circulate it internally before deciding, and we are happy to join a second call with partners.

Social media for Virginia businesses
LinkedIn is the main channel for contractors, IT and consulting firms, both for business development and hiring. Instagram suits wineries, restaurants, venues and tourism. Facebook still serves local services and community-minded businesses in smaller cities.
We can plan content, write posts that sound like your firm and run paid campaigns targeted by region or job title.
