Web Design, SEO and Google Ads for Austrian Businesses

Weras Labs designs websites, booking systems and web apps for Austrian businesses and runs SEO, Google Ads and social media. We work remotely from Turkey, one to two hours ahead of Vienna, so our working days overlap. One senior developer owns your project, starting with a free intro call and a written proposal.

Website design for Austria businesses by Weras Labs

Austria's economy has two strong rhythms. In the mountains, family hotels, ski schools and mountain guides live by the winter and summer seasons and depend on guests from Germany, the Netherlands and further afield. In the valleys and cities, industrial firms in Upper Austria and Styria, service companies in Vienna and wine estates in Lower Austria sell to customers at home and abroad.

Weras Labs is a software company in Turkey that works with Austrian clients remotely. We have no Austrian office. You work with one senior developer, in English, who handles design, development and launch, with almost your whole working day shared between us.

Serving businesses across Austria

  • Vienna
  • Graz
  • Linz
  • Salzburg
  • Innsbruck
  • Klagenfurt
  • Bregenz
  • St. Pölten

We work remotely from Turkey: no local office, one senior developer from first call to launch.

Industries we can help in Austria

What these businesses need online, and what we would build for them.

  1. 01

    Family hotels and alpine tourism

Direct booking with room and package selection, seasonal offers and guest information in German, English and Dutch, so you depend less on booking platforms.

  2. 02

Ski schools, guides and outdoor activities

Course booking, group sign-ups and weather-dependent schedule updates for operators in Tyrol, Salzburg and Vorarlberg.

  3. 03

    Industrial and automotive suppliers

Multilingual B2B sites with technical detail, certifications you hold and careers pages aimed at engineers in Upper Austria and Styria.

  4. 04

    Vienna services, cafés and retail

Clear sites with booking, menus and click-and-collect for businesses across the Viennese districts.

  5. 05

    Wine estates and regional food

Online shops, tasting bookings and trade enquiry forms for wineries in the Wachau, Weinviertel and Burgenland.

Websites for Austrian hotels, industry and local businesses

Austrian visitors expect a site that respects local conventions, from Austrian German vocabulary such as Jänner instead of Januar to a complete Impressum. We build with those details in mind.

  • Impressum and privacy pages set up clearly, with content supplied or checked by your adviser
  • GDPR-aware cookie consent, with analytics and ads waiting for visitor approval
  • German and English versions, plus Dutch or Italian for hotels with many guests from those markets
  • Booking engines, channel manager connections and custom portals
  • Accessibility to WCAG 2.2, increasingly relevant under European accessibility rules

Austrian German copy comes from your team or a translator; we take care of structure, SEO and quality across every language.

SEO for Austrian and German-speaking search

Austrian businesses often compete with German sites in search, because both countries use German. We set up country targeting and hreflang correctly, so your Austrian pages are shown to people in Austria and your German-market pages, if you have them, reach Germany.

For tourism we build destination and activity pages that answer what guests ask before booking. For local services we optimise your Google Business Profile and build pages for the towns and districts you serve. Technical work covers speed, structured data and indexing.

Google Ads around winter and summer seasons

Hotels and tourism businesses need campaigns that follow the booking windows, which often open months before the season. Typical setups:

  • Winter campaigns for ski holidays aimed at guests in Germany, the Netherlands and other key markets
  • Summer campaigns for hiking, lakes and family holidays
  • B2B search for industrial suppliers targeting specific export countries
  • Local campaigns for Vienna and regional service businesses

Tracking uses consent mode, and reports focus on bookings, enquiries and revenue.

Social media for Austrian brands

Instagram and YouTube work well for hotels, mountain activities and food, where pictures and short videos sell the experience. Facebook remains useful for regional audiences, and LinkedIn is the main channel for industrial firms and recruitment.

We plan content calendars around your seasons, prepare posts from your copy, schedule them and run paid campaigns, with reporting tied to bookings and enquiries.

Working with a remote team from Turkey: time zones and process

Turkey keeps UTC+3 all year. We are one hour ahead of Austria in summer and two hours ahead in winter, so we share almost the entire working day and can respond quickly during your busiest periods.

After a free intro call you receive a written proposal in English with scope, milestones and ownership. You can watch progress on a shared project board and sign off each stage on a staging site. One senior developer is responsible from start to finish, and support or marketing can continue afterwards on written terms.

How we work

Every project follows the same five steps. At each one you know who you're talking to and what you'll receive.

  1. 1

    Free intro call

We talk through your business, goals and budget, and look at your current setup together if useful.

  2. 2

    Written proposal

Scope, delivery date and price, itemised in writing. No surprise extras later.

  3. 3

    Design and build

We work in short cycles; a preview link lets you follow progress and comment at any time.

  4. 4

    Launch

We set up the domain, hosting, Search Console and analytics, then take the project live.

  5. 5

    Support and growth

We stay reachable after launch: fixes, new features, SEO and ad optimisation.

Web design in Austria: FAQ

Do you have an office in Austria?

No. Weras Labs is a software company in Turkey and works with Austrian clients remotely by video call, email and a shared project board. There is no Austrian office or staff; you work directly with your developer.

What is the time difference with Austria?

Turkey is one hour ahead of Austria in summer and two hours ahead in winter. Our working days overlap almost entirely, so calls during your office hours are easy. Quick fixes often happen the same day.

Can you build a direct booking site for our hotel?

Yes. We build room and package pages and connect them to your booking engine or channel manager, or build a custom booking flow where that makes more sense. Packages are easy to edit.

Do you use Austrian German?

Website copy comes from your team or a translator, and we make sure Austrian vocabulary and conventions are kept consistently. Project communication with us is in English. A short style list helps keep terms consistent.

Will you set up our Impressum and data protection pages?

Yes. We build and link these pages properly across the site. The legal content should come from or be checked by your adviser, as we do not give legal advice.

Can you target guests in Germany and the Netherlands with ads?

Yes. We run campaigns aimed at travellers in your key source markets, with landing pages in their language and tracking of bookings from each country. Budgets follow the booking windows of each market.
