Web Design, SEO and Google Ads for Bulgarian Businesses
Weras Labs builds websites, booking systems and online shops for businesses in Bulgaria and runs SEO, Google Ads and social media. We work remotely from Turkey, Bulgaria's neighbour, on the same clock in summer and one hour ahead in winter. Begin with a free intro call and a written proposal in English.
- Free intro call
- Written proposal
- Time zone: Eastern European Time (EET/EEST)

Bulgaria's economy has several distinct faces: a fast-growing tech scene in Sofia and Plovdiv, Black Sea resorts around Varna and Burgas, ski towns such as Bansko and Borovets, and producers of wine, rose oil and dairy. Each needs a different kind of website, and many need two alphabets on the same site.
We are your neighbours across the border in Turkey. One senior developer at Weras Labs handles your project from the first call to launch and support, communicating in English and keeping every decision on a shared board.

Industries we can help in Bulgaria
What these businesses need online, and what we would build for them.
- 01
Software and outsourcing firms
Sofia and Plovdiv tech companies need English-first sites, service pages built on their own work and careers sections that make applying easy.
- 02
Black Sea hotels and apartments
Properties around Varna, Burgas and the coast need direct booking, seasonal offers and content for visitors from abroad.
- 03
Ski and mountain tourism
Chalets, ski schools and rental shops in Bansko, Borovets and Pamporovo need winter-ready booking pages and fast mobile sites.
- 04
Wine, rose and natural cosmetics producers
Producers from the Rose Valley and Bulgaria's wine regions benefit from story-led brand sites and shops that ship across the EU.
- 05
Manufacturing and logistics
Plovdiv-area manufacturers and logistics firms need capability pages, certifications and quote request forms for foreign partners.
Web design and development for Bulgarian companies
Bulgarian sites usually run in Cyrillic for local customers and Latin script for everyone else. We choose fonts that render both well, plan URLs so they stay readable, and make sure each language version stands on its own.
- Bulgarian and English versions, plus German, Romanian or others if you supply the copy
- Booking engines for hotels, apartments and ski services
- Online shops with courier and payment options suited to Bulgaria, set up through your platform
- GDPR-aware consent banners in both Bulgarian and English, plus privacy pages
- Custom web apps, portals and internal tools
Ownership of the code and every account stays with you.

SEO in Bulgaria: Google Maps, resorts and Cyrillic search
Bulgarians search in Cyrillic, while many visitors search in English and other languages. Your site needs proper versions for both if you serve both. We set that up with correct language tags so Google shows the right page to the right person.
Locally, we complete your Google Business Profile, keep hours accurate through the season and build pages for the areas you serve, such as Lozenets in Sofia or Sunny Beach on the coast. Technical work includes speed, structured data for hotels, restaurants and products, and clean sitemaps. Bulgarian copy should come from a native writer.

Google Ads campaigns for Bulgarian businesses
Bulgarian tourism runs on two seasons. Ski campaigns open in autumn and run through winter; seaside campaigns build in spring and peak in summer. We target the source markets you name, in their language where you have the content.
Tech firms reach foreign clients with narrow English search campaigns. Local services in Sofia or Plovdiv use tight geographic targeting and call tracking. E-commerce campaigns rely on clean product feeds. Conversion tracking is always set up before spend.

Working with a remote team from Turkey: time zones and process
Turkey is UTC+3 all year. Bulgaria is on the same time as us in summer and one hour behind in winter, so we work the same office hours you do.
How we work: - An intro call at no charge, then a scope-and-timeline proposal in English - One shared board holding tasks, files and sign-offs - Updates every week and calls at times that suit your office - A staging site for review, with launch timed around your season - Handover of code and logins, plus support during the season if you want it
Being neighbours does not mean we have a local presence: there are no premises or staff in Bulgaria. A single senior developer is your point of contact throughout.

How we work
Every project follows the same five steps. At each one you know who you're talking to and what you'll receive.
- 1
Free intro call
We talk through your business, goals and budget, and look at your current setup together if useful.
- 2
Written proposal
Scope, delivery date and price, itemised in writing. No surprise extras later.
- 3
Design and build
We work in short cycles; a preview link lets you follow progress and comment at any time.
- 4
Launch
We set up the domain, hosting, Search Console and analytics, then take the project live.
- 5
Support and growth
We stay reachable after launch: fixes, new features, SEO and ad optimisation.
Web design in Bulgaria: FAQ
Do you have an office in Bulgaria?
No. Weras Labs is based in Turkey and works with Bulgarian clients remotely, by video call, email and a shared project board. We have no address or local staff in Bulgaria. You work directly with the senior developer building your site.
What is the time difference between Bulgaria and Turkey?
None in summer, and one hour in winter when Bulgaria is behind, because Turkey stays on UTC+3 all year. We share your whole working day, so calls and quick replies are easy.
Can you build a site in Bulgarian and English?
Yes. We build both versions with fonts that handle Cyrillic and Latin well, readable URLs and correct language tags. Bulgarian copy should come from you or a native writer; we handle layout and indexing.
When should a seaside or ski business launch a new website?
A few months before your booking window opens. For seaside properties that usually means winter; for ski businesses, late summer. That gives search engines time to index the new pages and ads time to learn.
Do your sites include GDPR cookie consent?
Yes. Every site includes GDPR-aware cookie consent that blocks tracking until the visitor agrees, plus clear privacy and cookie pages. The legal wording should be approved by your own adviser.
How do we get started?
Book a free intro call. We discuss your customers, season and current site, then send a written proposal in English. Work begins only after you approve it, and you can ask questions first.

Social media management for Bulgarian brands
Facebook is widely used in Bulgaria for local businesses and events, and Instagram suits hotels, restaurants, cosmetics and wine. LinkedIn is where tech companies hire and reach clients abroad.
We plan a monthly calendar, write posts in English, publish Bulgarian versions you supply or approve, and run paid campaigns for seasons, launches and recruitment. Reports focus on bookings, orders and applications.
