Web Design, SEO and Google Ads for Businesses in Greece

Weras Labs builds websites, booking systems and online shops for businesses in Greece and runs their SEO, Google Ads and social media. We work remotely from Turkey, at most one hour ahead of Athens, so the working day lines up almost exactly. Begin with a free intro call and a written proposal.

Website design for Greece businesses by Weras Labs

For many Greek businesses the year has two shapes: a long summer when the islands and coast are full, and a quieter season for planning. A website that earns its keep has to fill rooms and tables in the first and keep producing enquiries in the second.

We are a software company in Turkey, a short flight across the Aegean and on almost the same clock. One senior developer owns your project, from the first conversation to launch and support. We work in English, document every decision, and build for direct bookings, enquiries and online orders.

Serving businesses across Greece

  • Athens
  • Thessaloniki
  • Patras
  • Heraklion
  • Chania
  • Rhodes
  • Corfu
  • Larissa
  • Kalamata

We work remotely from Turkey: no local office, one senior developer from first call to launch.

Industries we can help in Greece

What these businesses need online, and what we would build for them.

  1. 01

    Hotels, villas and island tourism

Direct booking engines, seasonal rate pages and fast mobile sites that let guests book without going through a commission platform.

  2. 02

    Shipping and maritime services

Ship management firms, brokers and suppliers around Piraeus need a clear corporate site, fleet or service pages and secure client areas for documents.

  3. 03

Olive oil, honey and agri-food exporters

Producers selling to buyers abroad need a bilingual brand site, an EU-wide shop and a trade section with specifications and certifications.

  4. 04

    Yacht charter and activity operators

Charter companies and tour operators need availability, itineraries and enquiry forms that work well on a phone in a harbour with patchy signal.

  5. 05

Professional services in Athens and Thessaloniki

Law firms, accountants and clinics benefit from straightforward sites, appointment booking and local search visibility in Greek and English.

Web design and development for Greek businesses

Greek sites often have to switch alphabets as well as languages. We build Greek and English versions with clean URLs, make sure fonts render Greek characters properly, and keep layouts consistent across both.

  • Booking engines and channel manager connections for hotels and villas
  • Online shops with shipping to the islands and across the EU
  • Corporate sites for shipping and trading firms, with secure document areas
  • Cookie consent that respects GDPR, plus readable privacy pages
  • Lightweight pages that load fast on 4G from a beach or a ferry

At launch you receive the code, admin logins and every account in your own name.

Local SEO in Greece: Google Maps, islands and visitor searches

Visitors to Greece search on the spot: a taverna in Oia, a boat trip from Chania, a pharmacy in Naxos. If your Google Business Profile is incomplete or your opening hours are wrong in shoulder season, you lose those customers to the next pin on the map.

We set up and maintain your profile, add photos and seasonal hours, and encourage reviews honestly. On your website we build pages for the specific island or area you serve, structured data for hotels, restaurants or tours, and English content written for what visitors actually ask before they travel. For Athens and Thessaloniki firms, we focus on Greek-language searches by neighbourhood and service.

Google Ads for Greek tourism and local services

Tourism campaigns in Greece pay off most when they start early. Many travellers from the UK, Germany and Scandinavia book months ahead, so we open campaigns in those markets well before summer and target them in their own language where you have the content.

For local services, such as an Athens dental clinic or a Thessaloniki removal company, we run tightly targeted search ads with call tracking. Every campaign gets conversion tracking for bookings, calls and forms before spend starts, and we send you a short report you can read in two minutes.

Social media management for Greek brands

Instagram is the natural channel for hotels, restaurants, beach bars and food brands, because the landscape does half the work. Facebook is still strong among Greek local audiences, and LinkedIn suits shipping, trading and professional firms.

We plan content around the season: build-up posts in spring, daily life in summer, harvest and behind-the-scenes in autumn. We prepare posts in English and publish Greek versions you write or approve, and we can run paid campaigns for bookings or product launches.

Working with a remote team from Turkey: time zones and process

Turkey is UTC+3 all year. Greece shares our time in summer and is one hour behind in winter, so we work the same office hours you do. Calls happen inside your business day without anyone staying late.

Our process: - A free intro call, then a written proposal in English with scope and timeline - A shared project board where you follow progress and leave feedback - Design previews and a staging site before anything goes live - Launch timed for your quiet season where possible, with support through the busy months

There is no Greek office or account manager. The senior developer who scopes the work is the one who builds it and answers your messages.

How we work

Every project follows the same five steps. At each one you know who you're talking to and what you'll receive.

  1. 1

    Free intro call

We talk through your business, goals and budget, and look at your current setup together if useful.

  2. 2

    Written proposal

Scope, delivery date and price, itemised in writing. No surprise extras later.

  3. 3

    Design and build

We work in short cycles; a preview link lets you follow progress and comment at any time.

  4. 4

    Launch

We set up the domain, hosting, Search Console and analytics, then take the project live.

  5. 5

    Support and growth

We stay reachable after launch: fixes, new features, SEO and ad optimisation.

Web design in Greece: FAQ

Do you have an office in Greece?

No. Weras Labs is based in Turkey and works with Greek clients remotely, through video calls, email and a shared project board. We have no address or staff in Greece. You work directly with the senior developer responsible for your project.

What is the time difference between Greece and Turkey?

There is little or none. Greece and Turkey share the same clock in summer, and Greece is one hour behind in winter, because Turkey stays on UTC+3 all year. Our working days overlap almost completely.

Can you build a site in Greek and English?

Yes. We build both versions with separate URLs and hreflang tags so Google shows the right one. Greek copy should come from you or your translator; we handle layout, typography for Greek characters and indexing.

When should a seasonal hotel or villa start its new website?

Ideally in autumn or early winter. That leaves time to design, build and test before travellers start booking for the next summer, and it keeps launch away from your busiest weeks. We can work to a fixed opening date.

Can you connect our booking engine or channel manager?

In most cases, yes. We embed or integrate the booking tool you already use, or recommend one if you have none, and track completed bookings in analytics and Google Ads so you can see what each channel brings in.

How do we begin?

Book a free intro call. We ask about your guests or customers, your current site and your season, then send a written proposal in English. Nothing starts until you approve it.
