Web Design, SEO and Google Ads for Italian Companies

Weras Labs builds websites, e-commerce stores and custom web apps for companies in Italy and manages SEO, Google Ads and social media. We work remotely from Turkey, one to two hours ahead of Rome, with English as our working language. It starts with a free intro call and a written proposal.

Website design for Italy businesses by Weras Labs

A lot of Italian business runs on family firms that make one thing very well: a valve, a cheese, a sofa, a fabric. Many of them still rely on trade fairs and long-standing distributors, and their website is an afterthought. That is often where the next export customer quietly drops off.

We help Italian companies turn the site into a working sales tool, in Italian and in the languages their buyers read. A single senior developer handles your project from scope to support, communicates in English, and keeps decisions on paper so nothing gets lost between calls.

Serving businesses across Italy

  • Milan
  • Rome
  • Turin
  • Bologna
  • Florence
  • Naples
  • Venice and the Veneto
  • Bari

We work remotely from Turkey: no local office, one senior developer from first call to launch.

Industries we can help in Italy

What these businesses need online, and what we would build for them.

  1. 01

    Machinery and industrial components

Manufacturers in Lombardy, Emilia-Romagna and the Veneto need product catalogues with technical data sheets, downloadable PDFs and distributor enquiry forms in several languages.

  2. 02

    Food and wine producers

Consorzio-member producers and family wineries benefit from a story-led site, a direct shop for EU customers and a trade area for importers.

  3. 03

    Fashion, textiles and accessories

Brands and workshops around Milan, Florence and Como need image-heavy pages that still load quickly, plus a clean B2B line sheet for buyers.

  4. 04

    Furniture and interior design

Makers in areas such as Brianza sell to architects abroad, so a project gallery, finish configurator and dealer locator help more than a generic shop.

  5. 05

    Hospitality and agriturismi

Hotels, villas and farm stays from Tuscany to Puglia need direct booking, seasonal offers and pages written for visitors searching in English and German.

Web design and development for companies across Italy

We plan Italian sites around the buyer, not the org chart. An export manufacturer needs product families, specifications and certifications laid out so an engineer in Munich or Chicago finds what they need in two clicks. A restaurant in Naples needs a menu, a map and a booking button.

  • Italian and English (and other languages you need) with correct hreflang setup
  • Product catalogues fed from a spreadsheet or your ERP export
  • WooCommerce, Shopify or custom shops with EU VAT handling configured in the platform
  • GDPR-aware cookie consent and clear privacy and cookie pages
  • Company details in the footer laid out the way Italian sites usually present them

You keep full ownership of the code, the domain and every account.

SEO in Italy: Google Business Profile, regions and export markets

Italian local search is very regional. People search for a service plus a city or province, and for many trades Google Maps is the first thing they see. We set up or clean up your Google Business Profile, align your name, address and phone across directories, and build location pages only for areas you actually serve.

For exporters, the bigger win is usually international SEO: separate language versions, product pages that answer technical questions, and content that matches how foreign buyers phrase their searches. We fix the technical basics first, including speed, crawl errors, duplicate pages and structured data, then work on content.

Google Ads for Italian businesses

We split Italian accounts by goal. Domestic lead generation, for example a Turin installer or a Bologna clinic, uses tight geographic targeting and call tracking. Export campaigns target specific countries in their own language with landing pages to match.

Season matters too. Hospitality campaigns usually build from winter into spring, wine and food gift campaigns peak towards Christmas, and B2B campaigns often slow in August when much of Italy is on holiday. We plan budgets around those rhythms and track real conversions: calls, quote requests, bookings and sales.

Social media management for Italian brands

Instagram fits food, fashion, design and hospitality, where the product photographs well. LinkedIn suits manufacturers and B2B firms that want to reach purchasing managers and distributors. Facebook remains useful for local services and older audiences.

We build a monthly plan, write and schedule posts in English, publish Italian versions you supply or approve, and can manage paid campaigns for launches and trade fair follow-ups. Reporting focuses on enquiries and sales, not only likes.

Working with a remote team from Turkey: time zones and process

Turkey is UTC+3 all year. Italy is one hour behind us in summer and two hours behind in winter, so we share almost the whole Italian working day, including the slot after lunch.

What working together looks like: - Free intro call, then a written proposal in English with scope, milestones and timeline - A shared project board for tasks, files and feedback - Regular video calls scheduled in your business hours - Staged previews so you approve design and content before launch - Handover of code and accounts, with optional monthly support

We do not have an Italian office or sales team. You deal directly with the senior developer doing the work.

How we work

Every project follows the same five steps. At each one you know who you're talking to and what you'll receive.

  1. 1

    Free intro call

We talk through your business, goals and budget, and look at your current setup together if useful.

  2. 2

    Written proposal

Scope, delivery date and price, itemised in writing. No surprise extras later.

  3. 3

    Design and build

We work in short cycles; a preview link lets you follow progress and comment at any time.

  4. 4

    Launch

We set up the domain, hosting, Search Console and analytics, then take the project live.

  5. 5

    Support and growth

We stay reachable after launch: fixes, new features, SEO and ad optimisation.

Web design in Italy: FAQ

Do you have an office in Italy?

No. We are based in Turkey and work with Italian clients remotely. There is no Italian office, address or local staff. Projects run over video calls, email and a shared project board, and you speak directly with the senior developer who builds your site.

What is the time difference between Italy and Turkey?

Turkey is one hour ahead of Italy in summer and two hours ahead in winter, since Turkey stays on UTC+3 all year. That means we overlap with nearly all of the Italian working day and can hold calls at times that suit your team.

Can you build a multilingual site for an Italian exporter?

Yes. We set up Italian, English and any other languages you need with proper URL structure and hreflang tags. You or your translator provide the copy for languages other than English, and we make sure every version is indexed and easy to navigate.

Can you connect our product catalogue to the website?

Usually, yes. We can import products from a spreadsheet, a CSV export or an API from your management software, and keep them in sync. We look at your data during the intro call and say honestly what is practical.

Is the site GDPR-aware?

Yes. We build cookie consent that holds back analytics and ad tags until the visitor agrees, and we lay out privacy and cookie pages clearly. Final legal text should come from your own adviser.

How do we get started?

Book a free intro call. After it we send a written proposal in English covering scope, timeline and what we need from you. Work begins once you approve it, and not before.

Describe what you need in a few sentences. We'll pin down the scope on a free intro call and send a written proposal. You talk directly to the developer.
