Website design for Latvia businesses by Weras Labs

Latvian businesses often serve two or three audiences at once: Latvian speakers, Russian speakers and buyers abroad. A good site handles that without feeling like three sites glued together. It also has to load fast on a phone, because that is where most first visits happen.

Weras Labs is a software company in Turkey with one senior developer leading every project. You get direct contact with the person building your site, written plans in English and a working day that lines up almost exactly with yours.

  • Jelgava
  • Jūrmala

Industries we can help in Latvia

What these businesses need online, and what we would build for them.

  1. 01

    Logistics, transit and freight forwarding

Quote request forms, service pages per route and a client area for shipment documents help forwarders working out of Riga, Liepāja and Ventspils win B2B enquiries.

  2. 02

    Wood processing and furniture

Export catalogues with technical data, certificates and multilingual product pages for buyers in Scandinavia, Germany and the UK.

  3. 03

    IT services and outsourcing

Clear capability pages, case-study-ready layouts and careers sections that support both sales and hiring.

  4. 04

    Resorts and seaside tourism

Booking-first sites for Jūrmala hotels, spas and guesthouses, plus seasonal landing pages for summer and winter breaks.

  5. 05

    Retail and online shops

Fast e-commerce stores with local payment options, parcel terminal delivery at checkout and product feeds ready for Google Shopping.

Web design and development for businesses in Latvia

We start from what the site has to achieve: more quote requests, more bookings or fewer support emails. Then we plan the pages and build them on a modern, fast stack.

  • Corporate sites in Latvian, Russian and English with a simple editor
  • Online shops with variants, stock sync and clear delivery choices
  • Customer portals and booking tools for service businesses
  • Integrations with your accounting or warehouse software through APIs

GDPR-aware cookie consent and a privacy page template come with every build, ready for your own review.

Local SEO in Riga and across Latvia

Search behaviour in Latvia splits by language. A Russian-speaking customer in Daugavpils and a Latvian-speaking customer in Valmiera may look for the same service with completely different words. We research both and write pages for each, rather than machine-translating one version.

We set up your Google Business Profile, fix duplicate listings, add structured data and build service pages for the cities you actually cover. For exporters, we create market pages aimed at the countries you sell into.

Google Ads for Latvian service and export companies

Campaigns are split by language and by region so you can see what Riga costs compared with the rest of the country. For logistics and manufacturing clients we usually run lead campaigns targeting buyers abroad. Shops get Shopping or Performance Max campaigns once the product feed is clean.

Seasonal pushes for Jūrmala and Sigulda tourism in summer and around winter holidays are planned weeks ahead, not the night before.

Social media that suits the Latvian market

Facebook and Instagram still reach most local consumers, so we plan content there in the language your customers prefer. B2B and IT firms gain more from a steady LinkedIn presence: project news, team stories and short expert posts.

You get a monthly plan, ready visuals and scheduled posts, with approval before anything goes live.

Working with a remote team from Turkey: time zones and process

Latvia is one hour behind Turkey in winter and on the same time in summer, because Turkey stays on UTC+3 all year. In practice, our working days overlap almost completely.

The process is simple. After a free video call we send a written proposal in English. Once you approve it, we open a shared project board, show progress every week and launch when you sign off. After launch we agree a support period for fixes and small changes. The same senior developer handles your project throughout.

How we work

Every project follows the same five steps. At each one you know who you're talking to and what you'll receive.

  1. 1

    Free intro call

We talk through your business, goals and budget, and look at your current setup together if useful.

  2. 2

    Written proposal

Scope, delivery date and price, itemised in writing. No surprise extras later.

  3. 3

    Design and build

We work in short cycles; a preview link lets you follow progress and comment at any time.

  4. 4

    Launch

We set up the domain, hosting, Search Console and analytics, then take the project live.

  5. 5

    Support and growth

We stay reachable after launch: fixes, new features, SEO and ad optimisation.

Web design in Latvia: FAQ

Do you have an office in Latvia?

No. We are a Turkey-based company and work with Latvian clients remotely. Communication runs through video calls, email and a shared project board, all in English. Since we are within an hour of Riga time, scheduling is easy.

What is the time difference with Riga?

Zero to one hour. Turkey is on UTC+3 throughout the year, and Latvia switches between UTC+2 in winter and UTC+3 in summer. Calls can happen at any time during your normal working hours.

Can the site be in Latvian and Russian?

Yes. We build multilingual sites with a language switcher, separate URLs and proper hreflang tags so Google shows the right version. Your team or translator supplies the final Latvian and Russian text, and we take care of the structure.

Do you work with logistics and transit companies?

Yes. We can build quote forms, service pages for each route or transport mode, and a client portal for documents and shipment status, connected to your existing systems where they offer an API.

Is the website GDPR-ready?

Every site includes GDPR-aware cookie consent, a privacy page template and forms that only collect what you need. We are developers, not lawyers, so we recommend your own adviser reviews the final wording.

How long does a typical project take?

It depends on scope. A company site is usually much quicker than a shop or a custom app. The written proposal sets out a timeline with milestones, so you know what to expect before we begin.
